Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey enlightens Idaho

You can put labels on lots of music, and a lot of music lovers specifically search for music that remains outside of genres.  This upcoming Tuesday, September 20 Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey will prove that there are bands continuing to refuse to fit into a single category.

Takin’ It to the Streets

Seeing as we’re putting on more shows this summer than ever before, we’re going to need more help than ever from our extremely supportive community.  So if you or anyone you know are interested in being part of the What’s Good Here? Street Team, please contact us with the information provided in the tab appropriately labeled “Contact.”  In compensation for helping us canvas the valley and spread knowledge across the fair land, we’ll let you into shows for free.  There’s very few things better in the world than free live music.

Summertime and the Livin’s Easy

The Teton Valley off-season is really just a metaphor for an ever-present winter continuing to do it’s thing while none of us have jobs.  So, seeing as we’ve all had plenty of time to float in and out of town and remind ourselves that there is more than one season in other parts of the world,  we want to thank all of you for holding tight while our noses have been placed firmly to the grindstone to produce a diverse summer lineup.

We couldn’t be happier about the abundance of upcoming opportunities to experience live music in our area including those at Grand Targhee, The Center for the Arts, Concerts in the Commons FREE series in Teton Village, and the Teton County Fairgrounds annual bash which features Lettuce this year!  We promote live music no matter who’s responsible for bringing it.  We’re all a community here.  Let’s remember that.

Our first show of the summer will take place at the Knotty Pine following the first installment of the Music On Main series in Victor, Idaho.  We will be hosting shows at the Knotty after EVERY Music On Main show. Our schedule will extend through September at the least.  We’re looking forward to seeing all of you at some point this summer, and check back regularly for updates and added shows.

Now check in to the summer schedule, and go out there and be somebody!

Thanks for an EPIC season

WGH? just wants to take a minute to thank everyone for supporting us in such an outstanding season of music. We have a lot of people thank us for our vision but it’s everyone in our community that makes things like this work.  So we thank you all for everything that makes this possible.

Stay tuned for exciting news about out summer lineup as we move into the Knotty Pine in Victor, Idaho and continue to put on shows in all the nooks and crannies Jackson has to offer.

What’s Good at the Knotty Pine?

We’re very pleased to announce that What’s Good Here? will be booking the Knotty Pine in Victor, Idaho starting this summer.  We’d like to thank Brice Nelson for this opportunity and we hope that we can continue to deliver the caliber of artists that are used to frequenting this fine establishment.

We will start by hosting bands immediately after each of the Music On Main concerts starting on June 30.  So after the free music warm-up in the park,  we’ll turn up the heat and keep the party going all night long at the Pine. In addition to acts that have never played there, we will also be bringing back some of the familiar names, and hopefully (fingers crossed) some of those that we’ve all been hoping make a long overdue return.

The Knotty Pine and What’s Good Here? continue to appreciate your support and we hope that this new relationship will be a positive one for each of our endeavors and our fantastic mountain community as a whole!

A little something for our loyal family – ANY 5 SHOWS FOR $50

HE GET THIS!

What’s Good Here? thoroughly appreciates all the support you guys have shown us by proving that live music still has a place in this community.  We’ve been wanting to do something to reciprocate our appreciation in some way.

So it is with pleasure that we announce the availability of the What’s Good Here? Loyal Family Cards.  This is a punch card available for purchase by contacting us directly which allows you access to ANY 5 shows that What’s Good Here? produces.

The cards are only $50.

Our calendar is building everyday and we’re going to be doing more shows that are over $10 admission.  The Loyal Family Card acts as an enabling promotion designed to grant access to anybody who wants to attend any of our shows.

Your name will be on the front of the card.  Just bring it to the door of any of our shows and we’ll honor it.  They don’t expire.

The guidelines of use for the Loyal Family Cards are as follows and are printed on the back of the cards so there’s no confusion.

  • Purchaser must be 21 years of age
  • Limit of one use per show
  • Non-transferrable
  • They do NOT supercede waiting in line to get in
  • What’s Good Here? reserves the right to refuse admission
